Partnership Announcement: Swiss Green Projects (SGP) and KOPEC
Swiss Green Projects (SGP) and KOPEC (KOR-PHIL Educational and Cultural Exchange) are proud to announce a strategic partnership aimed at creating a lasting and positive impact within vulnerable communities in the Philippines. This collaboration combines KOPEC’s expertise in medical support, customs facilitation, and cultural exchanges with SGP’s commitment to sustainable solutions in water access, waste management, sports education, and environmental awareness.
A Common Mission
SGP and KOPEC share a common vision of service to humanity and a strong commitment to empowering communities. With KOPEC’s experience in supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and SGP’s achievements in environmental projects, this partnership seeks to maximize resources, expertise, and networks for the benefit of marginalized populations, including special needs children and indigenous groups.
Collaborative Efforts: Medical and Customs Facilitation
KOPEC will oversee the medical aspects of the partnership, ensuring the delivery of essential medical equipment and supplies. Its expertise in customs logistics will guarantee a smooth and efficient distribution of resources.
Sustainable Water and Waste Management
SGP will continue its initiatives to provide access to clean water and optimize waste management. Following the success of the CTU Mountain campus water kiosk, these initiatives will be expanded to other communities in need.
Sports Education and Environmental Awareness
SGP will lead programs that use sports as a platform for education and empowerment. In synergy with KOPEC’s cultural initiatives, these programs will include sustainability awareness campaigns for students and PWDs.
PWD Empowerment through Skills Development
KOPEC will offer training programs in handicrafts, sewing, and soap-making, complementing SGP’s efforts to promote self-sufficiency and environmental education.
Art and Cultural Exchange
Building on the success of KOPEC’s Art Festival, this partnership will provide new opportunities for special needs children to develop and showcase their talents. Selected participants will also have the chance to take part in international cultural events such as the Special Children’s Art Festival in Korea.
A Unified Approach for Greater Impact
This collaboration is supported by key institutional and governmental partners, including:
The Philippine National Police
The Provincial Government of Cebu

Together, KOPEC and SGP aim to address pressing social, medical, and environmental challenges by empowering communities and promoting long-term sustainability.
Moving Forward
Under the leadership of visionaries such as Dr. Hoon Young Choi, Dr. Ester B. Velasquez, and Javier Gonzalez, co-founder of SGP, this partnership marks a significant step towards inclusive development and strengthened global cooperation. KOPEC’s commitment to medical and cultural initiatives, combined with SGP’s innovative environmental programs, will ensure a lasting impact on communities in Cebu and beyond.
