Sumbawa Project – A Sustainable Commitment in Indonesia
Swiss Green Projects is proud to present the Sumbawa Project, an initiative that embodies our mission: combining sustainability, innovation, and education for a greener future.
On the island of Sumbawa, Indonesia, we have joined forces with a small community of surfers to address two major challenges: access to clean drinking water and environmental preservation. Thanks to the installation of a potable water kiosk, dozens of families now have daily access to this essential resource while also reducing the use of disposable plastic bottles.
Our actions go beyond infrastructure installation. Twice a month, our team, together with local residents and children, organizes beach clean-ups to protect marine and coastal ecosystems. These mobilization days also serve as opportunities to raise awareness within the community about the dangers of plastic pollution, soil degradation, and best practices for preserving their natural environment.
The Sumbawa Project is more than just an ecological initiative. It is a true human adventure, a partnership that values community involvement and inspires other communities to take action for a sustainable future.
Join us in this mission to protect the oceans, preserve the beaches, and build a more environmentally conscious world.
